Covid-19 Cleaning Policy

Goodstays have been working on increased new cleaning procedures and protocols.

To meet guests expectations, stringent cleaning standards will be a priority for guests health and safety. For all guest stays our commitment to cleanlines and the safety of our guests is always our highest priority. Here's what we're doing to ensure that our holiday homes meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning.

Up-to-date with the latest guidelines

We're actively monitoring the situation based on updates from the World Health Organization, and the leading travel industry third party platforms such as Expedia, and will continue to respond based on the best advice of the New Zealand government, public health authorities, and medical professionals.

Quality assurance and maintenance

Inspected property for compliance with cleaning, safety and maintenance protocols prior to each guest arrival. Ensured the overall health, safety and quality of each property with routine preventative maintenance, included in Goodstays comprehensive reporting.

EPA-registered cleaning products

All our products meet EPA’s (Environmental Protection Agency) criteria for use against the virus that causes COVID-19.

Trained Professionals

Our team of Guest Services professionals follow protocol to ensure cleaning, sanitation meet checklist requirements between reservations.

Proper PPE Usage

All housekeepers and guest services personnel to wear protective masks and gloves when cleaning and supervising throughout the Goodstays portfolio.

Overall Cleaning and Disinfecting

Disinfected and sanitised high-touch surfaces at our property. This includes wiping down any and all items that guests, owners and service-providers come into contact with, including keys, doorknobs, tabletops, appliances, electronics, and light switches. As well as sanitised soft surfaces and upholstery.

Re-washed Dinnerware

Housekeepers re-wash all dinnerware, including dinner plates, glasses, coffee cups and silverware, between arrivals.

Linens and bedding

All house linens, towels , protectors, and laundry items are cleaned at a commercial A-grade laundry facility and in accordance with recommended guother idelines. We eliminate excess contact and minimise potential spread of germs by bagging dirty linen during transport.

Health and Safety: No-contact check-in and check-out

New Zealand is currently Covid-19 free with guests able to choose to book last minute reservations to stay across our holiday houses. To ensure we are in a position to host all guests both domestic and international when the borders reopen, all reservations made will automatically block out a day prior to arrival and a day after departure. The additional cleaning day is to ensure we meet all health and safety enhanced cleaning practices.
