JACK’S POINT RETREAT A PROPERTY SUMMARY:
Nestled in its own private cul-de-sac, Jack's Point Retreat is a brand-new, stylish home completed with contemporary interior design throughout. This delightful holiday home is perfectly surrounded by the mountains and close enough to the Jack's Point clubhouse should you wish head out for a coffee or book a table for lunch or dinner.
ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
Enter the house through the impressive double garage or through the front door, which leads you upstairs to the open plan living. To your left is the kitchen, dining and living area, with its mountain views, gas fireplace, spectacular dining table and breakfast bar.
The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The living area with its comfortable couches and smart TV, comes complete with Netflix and a soundbar for guests who wish to plug in and play their own movies or music. The gas fireplace heats the space quickly, should you wish to relax after a big day of adventuring.
On the upstairs level behind the kitchen and entertaining area, is the master bedroom complete with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The ground level consists of a shared bathroom, separate toilet and laundry. The second and third bedrooms both have a Queen bed and their own French doors – ideal for the summer months.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.
PRIVACY ACT:
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.
You will have access to the entire home.
The Goodstays’ Guest Services department is available via phone or email throughout your stay, 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week, with a 24-hour emergency line.

There are plenty of walks in the area and mountain biking trails, making it the perfect base for your summer holiday or ski trip.

Second time stating at these houses, awesome location not too far from Queenstown, very peaceful with beautiful views. House has plenty of space, large kitchen and dining area. Will be back.

Allan’s place (managed by Good Stays) is a very beautiful space with impeccable view and good facilities. The location is amazing right in the heart of Hack’s point with 20min walk to the golf club house. However, we found the cleanness of the place is a bit disappointing as all the glasses and mugs in the cabinet are dirty, plates are with residual food and the kitchen countertop and bedroom surfaces are dusty. The bathroom and toilet are clean tho. Another point is that we were only provided with 2 spare toilet paper rolls for 4 people staying 4 nights, which were obviously not enough. We asked to get more but were rejected, which was a bit unhelpful. Wanted to check in at 12pm but was asked for $50 early check-in fee, which is also the first time I heard about.

Hi Kenneth Thanks for your detailed review, we really appreciate it. Thank you for letting us know about the dishes, we have since been through the cupboard and placed all cutlery, glassware, and crockery through the dishwasher again, from the images it did look as though a previous guest may have not let them go through the entire cycle before putting them away as it looked like residual dishwashing powder. It is important to us that our homes cleanliness is spot on, we would have gladly sent a team member out to go through and address any issues found at the time. As per our arrival information we do only supply a startup supply of basic items to get you through until you do a grocery shop these start up items are not replenished throughout the stay. If the property had been ready we would have gladly allowed and earlier arrival, as explained the property was not ready when you arrived, the small $50 fee was to have the schedule changed last minute to allow you an early check-in which is not uncommon for accommodation providers especially during peak periods such as winter Thanks again Kenneth, again thank you for sharing, safe travels. Nice house at Jack’s point which was conveniently located 20 minutes drive from Queenstown CBD and 7 minutes from the airport. Very quiet neighbourhood and tranquil backdrop. The house was clean and warm. All amenities were included as stated. Did not expect squeaky clean oven but it was reasonably clean. The shower door for the ensuite bathroom did not shut fully which caused water to escape from the shower cubicle. Overall, very good host!

Beautiful home close to the Remarkables. Jacks Point is a stunning residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only a short drive into town. Near the airport and Frankton. Recommended.

Very comfy beds and pillows. Cosy with gas heater in living room along with air conditioning and a heater in bedroom ( its was unseasonably cold the first few days of our stay) Beautiful kitchen, great views of the Remarkables - so close you felt you could almost touch them - a lovely place for a few days stay.

I can’t recommend this place enough. You have the Remarkables mountain range in your back yard. The home is new and spacious. But the best part of the experience was the communication throughout the stay. My messages were responded to within minutes and the hosts were more than reasonable with any issues or inquiries I had. I highly recommend this property.

The underfloor heating was not on and the windows were left open so when we arrived in the late afternoon the house was very cold and it took a while to bring it up to the ambience temperature that was stated in the information pack. The pack says that it is turned on in winter and this time around it snowed and the temperature was very low.
There was also no other type of heating provided in the downstairs bathroom as well.
Other than that the accommodation was nice and the stay was pleasant. I would suggest to provide a small nespresso machine and a small blender.

Had a wonderful 10 night stay. Loved the location, away from everything, and we all relaxed. Wonderful service and very clean and modern. Will book for next year again.
Only thing is I wish it had under floor heating downstairs, concrete flooring was rather cold, as it was mid winter.
